Restore your trunk area with the finest quality reproduction trunk mat currently available! Reproduction trunk mats are manufactured and designed to replace the original mat exactly. Each year is die-cut to fit the trunk pan to the exact dimension of the original mat. The correct GM waffle, Crowsfeet, and Gray Herringbone design is included in the gray/white pattern offering a completely original appearance. The early model mats are manufactured for coupe models. The convertible models require minor trimming around the rear convertible weight dampeners. The dampeners were installed on all convertibles to help distribute the weight in critical areas of the vehicle. Classic Industries recommends spraying the trunk area with spatter paint to help keep the trunk pan from corroding. Before painting with spatter paint, spray the trunk pan with a semi gloss black which will help allow a more even application of spatter paint, especially if the trunk has been repainted the same color as the vehicle. These molded mats were standard on 1958-70 Impalas with deluxe interior and available as an option on standard models. Clean the trunk area completely and thoroughly before spraying with base coat.
