Auto Throttle Bracket The amount of travel of the throttle rod on an automatic Vanagon matches the necessary travel for the Subaru throttle body, but the direction is backward. By looping the stock Subaru cable back on itself, the direction is corrected and works fine. Support it with a bracket which is bolted to the engine next to our engine adapter.
